K4 Edu Solutions builds interactive learning materials for Philippine accountancy and business education — textbooks written to Philippine standards, paired with a digital portal that lets students practise, self-assess, and track what they have actually mastered.
Why it exists
Most accounting textbooks used in Philippine classrooms were written for another country's rules. Students end up learning a concept twice: once the way the book explains it, and again the way PFRS, the TRAIN Law, the EoPT Act, and current SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG rates actually work here. And because board-style practice is usually saved for review season, the first genuinely CPALE-shaped question many students meet arrives years too late.
K4 exists to close both gaps — material that is Philippine-specific from the first page, and board-level practice built into every chapter rather than bolted on at the end.
What we publish
Financial Accounting & Reporting: Basic Accounting for Business Organizations
Fifteen chapters covering the accounting cycle, partnership and corporate accounting, Philippine taxation and payroll — aligned to PFRS and PFRS for SMEs, updated for the TRAIN Law, the EoPT Act, and 2025 contribution rates. Every chapter carries CPALE-level questions with full rationale, plus an interactive portal with practice tests, cycle workbenches, and a secured digital reader.

Who is behind it
K4 Edu Solutions was founded by Ken Gie Anthony G. Cruel, CPA, MBA, a Certified Public Accountant, author and educator. The book began as the one he wished he had when he sat for the CPA board exam — current with Philippine laws, rates and cases, without having to stitch it together from five sources.
